Life Guards Needed The Ellendale Park Board is looking for life guards for the 2015 summer season. The starting wage is $10/hr. If you are interested in this, please contact Mr. Hack.

Drivers' Education Information

Requirements for students wishing to participate in the course:

    -The student must be 14 years of age before June 12, 2015.
    -Each participant must provide the school with a copy of a birth certificate to testify to their age. In most cases, this evidence is available at the school; however, all parents or participants should verify this with the main office.

Information regarding the class:

    -The classroom portion of Drivers’ Education will be Monday May 25th - Friday May 29th from 8:30 am-3:30 pm for a total of 30 classroom hours.
    -The student must be present for the classroom instruction in order to complete the Drivers’ Education course.
    -The behind-the-wheel portion will begin on June 1, 2015 and run for up to 4 weeks.
    -The goal is to complete both the classroom and behind-the- wheel portions of the course by July 1, 2015.
    -The cost for the course will be $110.00 for first-timers; $250.00 for repeat course and non-residents.
    -The class will have enough room for 30 students so the first 30 to pay will be guaranteed.

Volleyball Summer Team Camp There will be a VB skills camp held at EPS July 7-8 for girls entering grades 3-12. Registration sheets will be sent home with students entering grades 3-8. Anyone entering grades 9-12 that is interested should stop by the office for a registration sheet. Registration deadline is May 1st.

Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars is sponsoring the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest with the chance to win local and state prizes and a $10,000 national scholarship. This contest is for students grades 9-12. If interested, please see the office for a contest application and more information.

FYI Regarding the Track Field The track is for walking/running only! No wheels allowed on track...no bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades. Thank you.

Girls Golf Any girls that plan on going out for golf this year, please stop by the office to get a picture packet from Mrs. Rosinski. Pictures are Wednesday, April 1st.

ELOE Band Students ELOE Band students are excused at noon on Monday, March 30th for lunch. You will depart for Oakes at 12:20. Don't forget your instrument, music, uniform, and money for supper.

ELOE Tickets You may buy your ELOE tickets in advance at the office, $5 Adults, $3 Students. ELOE band will be performing in Oakes Monday, March 30th at 7 pm.
